The Rockland Youth Dance Ensemble is a nonprofit organization located at 430 Market Street in Nanuet, New York. Established in 1983, RYDE provides a platform for students and emerging artists in dance and theatre to hone their skills through education and performance. The organization is proud of its dedicated volunteer families, friends, and community supporters who help make their programs possible. RYDE showcases talented young performers between the ages of 7 and 18 who have demonstrated high-quality performance abilities through their training in the performing arts. Many RYDE dancers have gone on to attend prestigious Summer Dance Programs with national companies and have found success in dance, theatre, and related professions. The ensemble includes students and professionals from Broadway, national dance companies, and regional theatre.
