Situated in the northern section of the Conservatory Garden, the Untermyer Fountain features a stunning bronze cast of Walter Schott’s "Three Dancing Maidens." This exquisite piece of art was originally acquired by the Untermyers in the early 1900s from the workshop of the renowned German artist. It graced the garden of their Yonkers estate before being generously donated to Central Park by their children in memory of their parents.
