"Sadly the proprieter of this place automatically charged my credit card on the first of the month athough my son not been coming in. Atilla greedily did not return the $390 although I did call immediately after being charged to ask for the money back. It's pretty dishonorable and I did make a complaint to the US Fencing Association. It's just bad business practice and bad sportsmanship. I won't be recommending this place because they care more about money than Fencing."

"Outstanding club! My son has been fencing at this club for 2 years. He joined when he was only 7 years old. The owner Attila is a great guy and the coaches are good teachers. "I've been fencing for almost three years with Rockland Fencers club and this academy doesn't disappoint... If you are a beginner you will be welcomed with open arms and will enjoy the experience from the first time you step in. This club isn't just a place to go and learn to fence, but a place where you could develop friendships and become more confident. As for the fencing aspect, it gets better. The coaches are committed to teaching their students and don't make you feel incapable of anything. With the help of my coach, Attila, I have been able to compete in national competitions and become a ranked fencer in my age category. "If you are looking for a wonderful place to fence the Rockland Fencers Club meets all expectations. The facility is bright and well maintained with overhead electric and metal fencing strips. Coaching from Attila Lukacs and Tyler Overk is both personalized and challenging, but most of all fun! Fencing is a great form of exercise, not only physical but mental as well. Group classes offer an overall workout and the opportunity to step up your footwork, coordination and fencing skills. Fellow fencers are friendly, supportive and competitive. An altogether enjoyable experience, highly recommended."

"My daughter (18 now) has been fencing at this club for a year, since it was taken over from the previous owner. The current owners Atilla and Tyler are amazing. They came in to the club and it has been an amazing experience for me and my daughter. My daughters coach Pavel has taken her raw talent and carved it in to two NYS Sectional team spots for her, a all around Bronze medal for her team last year and this year as captain of her high school team they took home the Gold team medal. My daughters grades have improved dramatically while fencing overall from a C to a solid B+. And she is interested, has applied and been accepted to several colleges as of today. The owners and coaches of the club are respectful, informative and honest with the parents and students. They work with you, communicate openly with the parents and fencers you always know what is going on at the club. They listen to concerns of parents and the fencers. They have fun events for the fencers throughout the year which is really nice for the kids. The facility itself is state of the art, 10 strips plus 2 warmup strips changing rooms, and fully airconditioned. The wires come from the ceiling so no tripping over the boxes on the floor. They have two parking lots and are located in the heart of Nyack close to the local eateries. The thing I like most about the club is the coaches they are not above fencing with the students. I have recommended this club to my friends and family."
