"I don't often feel compelled to write reviews, particularly negative ones. However, this was an all-around poor experience. I would not recommend going to this salon. This is due to the quality of the manicure itself, but more importantly, the manner in which they treat customers. 1. Though my nail tech was very kind/pleasant to work with, the quality of the manicure itself was poor. I get my nails almond shaped – I found myself checking for consistency when it came to nail length and shape, however, at the end some were still wider or more pointed than other nails. There wasn't any attention to detail when it came to shaping my nails. Secondly, one of the nails cracked the very same day and two more broke the following day. The process was rushed, not enough layers of dip or top coat were applied, and not enough time was allowed for the dip to properly adhere to my nails. 2. The color of my nails was not what I picked out on the color wheel. This was due to the salon's own mistake of mislabeling the dip container's number (which I didn't know until later, when the main issue arose). The powder itself looked champagne colored and I had picked out a shimmery light grey, but with dip it's hard to tell the actual color until the end once the topcoat is applied. By that point, no, I wasn't going to ask her to completely re-do my nails. It really didn't look good since it was essentially skin/sand colored instead of grey, but my mindset was "it is what it is," regardless of my frustration. I still said thank you and gave a 30% tip. 3. The reason I'm writing this review is because of how the situation was handled when I returned to the salon the next morning to have my nail fixed (the one that broke the same day I got them done). The salon was moderately busy but not packed, and yet I was being frantically rushed. I was asked to identify the dip color needed to fix my nail. I found the one I had originally picked on the wheel and tried to explain the situation of it not matching the color on my nails. I was also able to give the employee the exact name on the dip container that was ultimately used on my nails ("sand castle"). With both the number I had picked out on the wheel and the exact name of the powder, it still took 3 employees running around and blaming each other when they weren't able to find the color immediately. The owners and/or managers (a man and a woman) were rude to my nail tech and blamed her for not putting the dip back properly (mind you, she wasn't the one who picked the nail color out with me originally, it was the woman who was yelling at her). Finally, they find the container and it becomes apparent that it was labeled with the wrong number (176 in Sharpie, though the actual label said 178). Then, moments after all of this occurs, the man helping fix my nail attempts to blame me for "not taking a picture of the dip powder container" when I originally got my nails done, as if it was my fault they had trouble locating it and had mislabeled it..? He had an attitude with me the whole time and was yelling at multiple people while working on my nail. No acknowledgment of error or apology (not even regarding the broken nail from the manicure I just paid for). The only person who said sorry was my original nail tech, who again, was very considerate. I would strongly urge you to go elsewhere."

"I just moved to the Saint James area in May and this is the 3rd nail Salon I have tried. I was a walk in today and just received the absolute best pedicure and gel manicure! The nail tech was named Veronica and she was 100% focused on giving me the best experience. I am a gym teacher and wear sneakers on a regular. She did a callus remover and spent at least 20 min on each foot. I will be going back here again and recommending it to others. Veronica did an amazing job thank you!"

"Amanda is the best nail technician, she does an amazing job. I get powder gel every three weeks and not only does she work quick, she is meticulous with details. The salon is always very clean, although very busy! Because they are so great! Make sure you make appointments, it is worth planning ahead. I won’t ever go to another nail place."
