Welcome to the practice of Douglas R. Ewing, MD, FACS, located at 81 Route 4, Paramus, New Jersey. Dr. Ewing is a distinguished surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Advanced Laparoscopic Associates. With an impressive educational background, Dr. Ewing graduated with honors from Harvard University and earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He further honed his skills through an internship and residency at St. Luke’s—Roosevelt Hospital Center, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. Board-certified and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Ewing is the Section Chief of Laparoscopic Surgery and the Program Director of the Minimally Invasive/Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center. He serves as an associate professor of surgery at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, where he is committed to advancing surgical education and innovation.
