Welcome to the Mercer County Library: Hightstown Memorial Branch, a cherished community hub located at 114 Franklin Street, Hightstown, New Jersey. Nestled by the serene Peddie Lake, our branch offers a unique blend of history, tranquility, and modern resources. Established in 1921, the library became a branch of the Mercer County Library in 1969 and has since grown to become a vital part of our community. Our library stands out with its beautiful reading room overlooking the lake and a cozy fireplace in the main room, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a good book. We offer a wide array of resources, including ten public computers, an extensive collection of books, magazines, DVDs—particularly children’s educational videos—as well as music CDs and books on CD. Our Spanish collection further enriches our diverse offerings.
