As the headwaters of the South Branch of the Raritan River, this preserve is teeming with diverse wildlife and lush landscapes. Spanning 208 acres, preserved since 2010, South Branch is our most active preserve, offering a delightful escape into nature for families and nature enthusiasts alike. Explore our easy trails and discover the beauty of our restored native forest, home to an array of wildlife including great blue herons, wood turtles, and red-shouldered hawks.
