"UPDATE: After my initial review I was reached out to by the people at Ray Mees. They were steadfast about helping me out with this issue. I was invited back to their shop so that they could take a look at my vehicle. They were polite and courteous. The owner came out to take a look, and he heard me out. He was very helpful in educating me about what can cause this, how pervasive it is and how to prevent this moving forward (swirling, see old review). I was also shown their process which was much more meticulous than I had imagined. We’re currently working out a solution. After this experience I couldn’t not change my review to 5 stars. As I mentioned in the old review, the repair job was stellar, but this experience was a demonstration of a good business who takes pride in their work. Great job and thank you! **Old review**: 5 star repair, but 3.5 star rating overall at. They did a great job with replacing the hood of my Mazda. Looks like nothing ever happened (where there was previously a large dent). My only complaints are that communication was little bit lacking in terms of follow ups, and perhaps more frustrating; swirls all over my car! When I picked up my car it was raining and night time so it was hard to see the true condition of my car. The next day I noticed that they had cleaned my vehicle and it was looking pristine. It wasn’t until recently at night in under street lights that I’ve begun to notice pretty pronounced swirls all throughout my car. It wasn’t like that before, and I know because I’ve only washed my car once since I’ve purchased it and haven’t washed it since even after the repair they performed. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the intention, but really, whatever happed to microfiber towels? Especially after having done such a great paint job! I don’t expect that they’ll be willing to help me with this, I don’t know how I would begin to prove that this was their doing. I guess at the very least I hope they see this and reconsider their cleaning methods moving forward. Such a great repair job, but the swirls are really bugging me out!"
