Harbor School
β OpenHarbor School, located at 240 Broad Street in Eatontown, New Jersey, has been providing educational, vocational, and support services for students with special needs since 1969. Serving Monmouth, Middlesex, Ocean, and Mercer counties, the school offers a safe and nurturing environment for students aged 5-12 facing various challenges. Programs focus on social skills, life skills, transition, and therapy services including OT, PT, ST Counseling, and BCBA. Technology tools are also used to enhance student success. The school's mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives, with a focus on life, work, and recreational skills. Harbor School offers a School-to-Work Transition Program to prepare students for the workforce. The academic program covers subjects such as math, language arts, social studies, and science, while also offering programs for everyday living skills. Therapy services, art, music, counseling, and technology tools are all integrated into the curriculum. The school recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with a documentary produced by GV CERV Communications. The Holiday Express band has been visiting the school during the holiday season, bringing joy through music and dance.
