"Without a doubt, Dr Ahmed and a handful of NPs make this medical group great at first. However, there is a lack of consistency with the care received, and you get bounced around, not allowing to establish a relationship with a provider. To top it all, the main office has its own way of running the practice with ridiculous "policies." For example, you can't see a provider for an annual physical until you have blood work done. Yes, great for the practice, as they avoid f/u visits for test results, but what if your condition requires more than the normal blood panel? The worst part is that you are not informed of such a requirement when you make the appointment, so if you made a 645 pm appointment, good luck! You will encounter a bully phlebotomist or MA with a nasty attitude who will inform you of the "policy " when you are onsite expecting to be seen, because no one made you aware, even if you are precise with your appointment needs upon calling to schedule. I don't even know why the main office advertises late hours when, in fact, the MAs whine and complain in your face how your late appointment means they have to stay extra time. In the evenings, when there are no admins or MDs, the MAs and phlebotomists run the show and "do you the favor of performing their jobs." During flu season is another headache; televisits are pushed through even if you have already been down that route and don't have flu symptoms but instead strep throat and ear infection. You have to be persistent to be allowed to come in for an inperson visit. Worse part, management covers up for their staff. Yes, when MAs and or receptionists don't do their jobs, or you catch an NP not giving you all abnormal results, or a phlebotomist doesn't draw the necessary blood samples, be ready to be the problem, the obnoxious patient who is entitled, despite the practice potentially putting you at risk and compromising YOUR health. ZERO accountability, zero patient centered experience, and the scary part of all, the MAs run the show and get away with inappropriate behavior and inadequate patient care. You may be luckier if you try an offsite office like Paramus. Unfortunately, they don't have the same hours and my NP was also transferred, which led me to have to go back to the Hackensack office, and be removed from the practice because of the incompetence of the staff who saw me last time. It's not worth my health. When a practice covers medical errors, it is a red flag. When the management is rude and covers for their "well trained staff," it is a red flag. If you happen to have experience managing operations in hospital and clinic environments, you will understand all the downfalls of this group. When you show them their mistakes, be ready to be labeled as the hostile intimidating patient who abuses and threatens their staff. It is laughable! In all my years in healthcare, I've never experienced this type of treatment, and I would not allow a patient to go through this type of abuse. Whoever is making decisions over their staffing needs to be aware and conduct RCA on quality and patient experience and patient complaints, and hold their management and support staff accountable for their poor behavior and lack of quality and professional care."
