"I order carpeting and laminate flooring for my new home. I wanted it installed before the movers moved my furniture in so that I wouldn't have to move the furniture out of the way. The owner was very helpful to select carpeting and laminate, initially. The carpeting was installed the week before the movers arrived. The laminate was backordered, but arrived in time to be installed in the kitchen and dining room the day before the movers arrived. They are supposed to be finished that day, but had to come back the morning that the movers were arriving to finish the kitchen, which was fine. I wanted the job done right. Everything appeared to be laid fine, but then four months after installation the kitchen floor started to buckle. I called the owner and installation company concerned, and they came out to look at the job. They told me I had structural issues. I contacted the inspector who did my home inspection for closing as well as my association to be certain of no structural issues, which I didn't have. After having the owner out several times to look at the worsening floor, I finally had multiple floor companies to come out and look at the floor to estimate fixing it. Each of the floor companies said that they would never have recommended a laminate floor to be installed in these rooms over a concrete slab floor. It took months to resolve this issue. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone."
