The Point - Somers Point

"Nice place to see bands. Every time we go there the wind is horrible. The food comes out hot and the wind cools it off before you finish. Everything else about the place is good. However they could use a few more waitresses. Plenty of parking if you get there early. Cover charge and wrist bands required."

"I'm a local to the area but tonight was my first time visiting The Point. What a great atmosphere right off the water with a beach environment. Food servers were polite and very attentive. The drink and food selection was impressive for such a small place and everything I tried was good. I only gave the food 4 stars because I only had appetizers but they were all good as well. I was there on a Thursday night and there was live music. I would definitely go back for the good vibes, creative drinks, and to sample more of the menu. Definitely worth stopping by if you're looking for something different and casual."

"Hey, there's a tiki bar nearby. The weather's great, and they serve food and drinks. What more could you ask for? It was a bit windy, so it wasn't the most comfortable, but they still had a nice seating area and a good vibe. The food was a little dry, but it was still okay. We were drinking and having fun, so it didn't really matter. We went on a weekday, and there was no entrance fee."

"We arrived early and had quite a bit of trouble getting a server. Two table that arrived after us were able to order food and drinks before we saw menus. After we finished eating another server brought us menus assuming we just arrived although I was just waiting on another round of drinks. They seem slightly disorganized when it comes to tables and it’s really just one big bar…. WITH THAT ASSIDE this place was super cool. Amazing view of the bay with live music. Fantastic (but expensive) drinks and delicious burgers. My fiancé enjoyed two of the “sucker punch” and I had the spicy mango margarita and a regular frozen margarita. Honestly a great vibe. One of the most important parts I like to include in my review is the bathroom cleanliness. I will say this bathroom was a bit interesting as it was literally a trailer of some type BUT it was air conditioned and EXTREMELY clean. See my picture regarding the bathroom. We will definitely be returning next summer."

"We were staying on the dry island of Ocean City, but wanted to go out for a drink so we drove across the bridge and were immediately at The Point. The location and parking are very convenient. The atmosphere was very laid back and family friendly, but a lot of fun. There was live music, great views of the bridge and water, and very friendly staff. The drinks were fun and tropical. The bathrooms were very clean and convenient. I think The Point was the perfect place for a night out after a long day with the family."
