"Please Read before you sign your lease. The 1 star reviews are true and legitimate. Let me explain. My family and I lived here for 4.5 years and that wasn't by choice (Covid, life, etc). Let's talk about the rent for a second. Edgewood increased the rent by 14% at renewal in 2022 renewal then expected tenants to just stick around. People have been leaving just like in 2023. They also tried to charge us a short term month to month fee of an extra $1,000 per month on top of our base rent. We had it writing that the month to month fee was an incremental $300 yet on the contract they kept on sending $1,000 thinking we would just sign it. Be very careful and read the contract thoroughly. Staffing at Leasing Office: The clubhouse is understaffed and it's a revolving door of people who come and go. They cannot retain their staff because they don't pay them well or take care of them. If you do call the clubhouse and they say "we will call you back." Candidly, you won't receive a call back. You must have the energy to chase them down for everything. Schools: Hamilton schools are horrible so if you have children who are going to be starting in the public school system save your money and move to West Windsor or Plainsboro where the schools are great and the rent is comparable. It's also close to the Princeton Junction train station if you have to go into the city (NYC). Security deposit: you will NOT receive your security deposit back. They will nickle and dime you for everything under the Sun. They will find a way to keep every penny of it and then some. You will need to argue with the leasing office for months to find a resolution. Let me also explain the 5 star reviews. The clubhouse runs promotions where tenants are told to write 5 star reviews on Google they are entered to into a raffle to receive Apple Earpods or Gift cards. The 5 star reviews are from tenants looking for gift cards and earpods. Just keeping it 100 with you all"

"Update on Dec. 2023: The management backed away on the cleaning part, but never budge on the wear and tear part on painting. She said on the zoom call that it's resident 's responsibility to paint like new while we are living and we should have asked for sample paints from them. Again, be aware!! Future residents!! If you make any stain on your wall, even if it's just your finger print, paint them yourselves!! WARNING to future resident!! We moved out recently after two year rent. It's a good place to leave. Your nightmare will start when you move out! All the bad reviews regarding move out charges are true! We are two adults with no kids, no pets. We are not party people. We didn't hang anything on the wall. We returned to the place the next day of move out to clean the whole unit thoroughly. Then they charged $600 for full painting and nearly $500 for full cleaning. I've never seen any landlord to pass these costs to renters for regular wear and tear. These are ridiculous. Will claim a dispute and give update here. Even before move out, communication from the management was terrible. Appointment for pre-move out assessment was sent out to my email from the automatic email program, didn't even ask for availability and they didn't even show up on the day and suddenly sent another email. Don't believe in the good review here. They have a promotion event giving some gift certificates if you leave a good review on them."

"I recently moved to The Crossing, and the service has been exceptional. The concierge has been incredibly helpful, recommending local shops and assisting me in getting acquainted with the area. Their attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile have made my transition smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this luxury apartment for not just its amenities, but also its outstanding customer service. Moving can be stressful, but thanks to Felicia, our transition was smooth. She provided invaluable assistance with understanding the move in process let us know the steps  of moving in."

"I would NOT live here. The rent is ridiculous for the outdated interior you get. After a year the washer and dryer and dishwasher started breaking. The pool is small and only fits 5-6 people comfortably. It is always dirty as well. Half the things in the gym are old or broken. I have been requesting some equipment to be fixed for over a year in the gym and they have not done anything. You have a $45 monthly fee for amenities they do not take care of. The front desk staff quits often due to poor management so the hours of operation changes on a weekly basis. The only reason I am giving it a 2 is because its close to the train station and i feel very safe. Otherwise, i can not wait to move next year."

"I love this place! I moved here a few years ago because I catch the NJT train at Hamilton Station to NYC. The traffic and parking at the train station was stressful especially on busy mornings. Now I walk from my apartment to the train station in 7-9 minutes. I find the staff here to be friendly, polite and most helpful. The concierge Ms. Nyaisha was very helpful in helping me find my postal package and answering my questions on reserving the conference room. The leasing office Ms. Karla is Amazing! She’s helped me so much with all of my leasing renewals and fees questions. I’ve probably asked Ms. Karla the same lease questions like 3 times and she’s always been most kind and understanding when explaining my questions. The maintenance team was on point when they fixed my A.C. And my hot water last summer. I really like and enjoy the Sunday morning brunches. It’s popular with our residents. In the summers I like the pool and going for a walk around the community. Oh and the gym is 24/7 I like that! I’m happy here and I hope to stay here longer. If you’re looking for a clean & safe place to call home. I do recommend The Crossings."
