"Billing department is absolute garbage and continues to post fraudulent bills to me (this is at least the third time) despite the fact that I paid my sessions in full at the time received every single time. They have even apologized to me for their repeated errors over the phone, and yet, they refuse to actually correct their mistakes in a way that prevents their recurrence and now, months after I have ceased all service from their corporation, are trying to bill me NEW charges. AND -lol - the email address that they tell you to contact for support bounces back as undeliverable. Do not waste a second on these people."

"I would not recommend this place to a colleague or friend. You can find better services somewhere else. It’s impossible to get in touch with anyone from the billing department. Every time I call the voicemail is full and no one can get to the phone or answer an email. If I could leave less than a star, I would."

"Never heard of this company until I got an e-bill concerning a Doctor I don’t know, with a date of service from 7 years ago. When I responded that I did not know anything about this, and I thought this to maybe be some type of fraud they replied with harassment,threats and slander. I am sure the Healthcare providers at Portrait Health Centers are top notch, the support staff not so much. Edit: apparently billing managers have access to patient session notes and will use that as a threatening statement to get you to pay up. Got to ask HIPPA why a billing manager has access to patient records."

"I will respectfully leave out the therapist’s name pertaining to my unsatisfactory and extremely poor experiences and encounters with the staff at portrait health care Center’s. Please do not rely on the licensed counselors to be of best assistance to your individual needs. I think it’s best that public refer to a clinical psychologist rather than the counselors that cannot balance their hours or flexibility. I thought I had the most suitable counselor whom began making small improvements or goals after my first session. She/He began continuously changing or cancelling our times for therapy and my progress is now null and void. I would look for other providers in your plan."

"If I could leave no stars I would. this place was an absolute joke. it took them a month to process my insurance, then they miss quoted me on my price, and I still had to pay the new amount. My therapist cut my session short by 30 minutes three times, I finally stopped going and tried to cancel all of my appointments. The girl who I spoke to over the phone never canceled them, so when I got an email saying my appointment was for tomorrow I still had to pay for it. There is no receptionist for this office, the number you call is rerouted to a call center in Illinois where they tell you "we will make a note of it and someone will get back to you" no one ever does. you have to call them over and over. My first session another therapist interrupted my session to talk to my therapist about what they wanted for lunch, which I found highly inappropriate. Stay away from this place, there are so many better places to go to where people are actually helpful."
