"Dr. Prenner has been wonderful since our first appointment several years ago. He is professional, immensely kind. I have a sensitivity to the betadine needed to protect the eye after an injection. Dr. Prenner has put in a great amount of time attempting to circumvent that problem. It makes the infection more of a process and more time-consuming for him and his team, but he is dedicated to make it work for me and my problems. Yesterday he tried another technique and it was simply AMAZING! There was no pain, inflammation, irritation, nothing! Once again, Dr. Prenner, along with being kind and friendly and totally approachable, was able to come up with a solution. He is the best, most amazing, kindest physician. Always friendly, no matter the number of patients he has to see. I worked in varied medical fields and dealt with many doctors, of different specialties. He has the same qualities as the very best, and then some."
"I waited 2 hours to be seen for a 5 minute exam! There were approximately 15+ people waiting to see one of 2 doctors. I inquired about wait time and was told there were 2 people ahead of me.. that was the start of my 2 hour wait! They herd you from one waiting area to another to help you think you are making progress with your wait time! The technician who did an eye test seemed shocked that I was unable to read the letters, asking me to try again and kept telling me blink again then try again. That wasnt too encouraging and seemed a bit unprofessional! At the end of my 2 hr 10 min appointment I was scheduled to meet with the Office Manager about my experience, at the encouragement of the doctor. Well, I had to wait to talk with her so, as my ride to the doctor had to leave because the appointment was so long I needed to call someone for a pick up (my eyes are dilated). The Manager called me and apologized as they were supposedly short staffed. I suggested they show integrity for their patients and call patients to let them be aware that there may be a long wait so re-scheduling is an option! She said this would not happen again , and I agreed as I told her I will not be back."
"Traumatizing experience. From the very beginning, Dr. Ruth was snarky and rude. He was very rough when opening my eyes for drops and got angered when my reflex was to flinch and pull away. He said that I have a hole in my retina, and said to come back in a year to correct it. My previous doctor corrected holes and tears on the spot. I asked if waiting would worsen the hole, and he said "possibly." He kept my eyes open by digging a metal tool into my upper and lower lids. As you can imagine, this was painful; when I expressed this, he angerly said that it's standard. He told me what my condition is called and after I asked if it's likely genetic, he replied "Don't get excited. It's not definitely your condition. " In short, I left his office in pain, untreated, and confused by the anger in this man. I left his office in tears. I'm assuming that racism played a part in his poor treatment of me."
"My husband went in to the New Brunswick Center as an emergency for what we thought was a tear in the retina. Dr Nicholas D. Chinskey, MD met us, provided a thorough exam, calmed our fears, explain the process, what to expect & the next steps. Our experience with this organization has been impeccable. Each of the doctors & staff we have dealt with thus far, has been fabulous. I couldn't say enough about each member's bedside manner, skill & wonderful service. I highly recommend this group of knowledgeable & skilled practitioners."
