Summit Health

"I've been taking my kids to Pediatrics Summit Health group since 2018. Yesterday I set up an appointment for this morning when I went and discovered that the appointment was canceled! They also sent a text for the check in then they said that they called me but never left any message! Very bad. I had to take my kids to the Urgent Care. What was worst? They didn't show ANY care or willingness to help and find a solution to their MiSTAKE!"

"I wasn’t going to write a review but, I see I am not the only bad review on here nor am I the only person who was treated poorly by the obgyn staff and one of the doctors. I had a 3:45 appointment booked and yes I was LATE, but when I arrived the nurse or receptionist said ‘oh we took you off already’- okay, so no call asking if I was still coming, fine I get it. I am a new patient and had never been to this office, there are also 3 other offices, one next to the other all ‘Summit Medical Group’. A woman, again receptionist or nurse in the other office the wrong office I arrived at told me I was looking for 570 (there is no 570- she meant 574). Back to the receptionist, she tells me she’ll ask the doctor if she will see me- Dr. Greenwald, she returns to tell me that she’s already booked into another procedure! Uhm, okay so my new patient appointment was only going to be 15 mins? The receptionist says all rudely, ‘yes because it’s an annual’- to which I reply but I wouldn’t even get to speak to her ? Or give her some of my patient background ? She doesn’t know me ? The receptionist replies, I kid you not, ‘yeah sorry again, it’s just a 15 min appt.’. I understand it’s very busy now and especially this time of year and with COVID-19, but come on. I reluctantly booked the next available appt. sometime in January but this is because I haven’t been to the gynecologist in a while and this needs to get done. I love Summit Medical, my complaint isn’t with them, it’s basically like what another reviewer griped- terribly, bad, bedside manner, from this office. Maybe they were all just having a bad day :("

"I’ve been taking my daughter to doctors Bernstein and Shapren since 2008. These doctors are wonderful. This office used to be a small friendly place now they have all these new rules and new secretaries. I just don’t like if my daughter’s not feeling well I have to take her to a clinic since they have no appointments available. It’s sad to say but I’m really looking into changing doctors."

"it takes about 3 months to make an appointment with a pediatric provider,,on the day of appointment we were late by 15 mins because of rain and traffic and they cancelled us without even informing us. They want us to make another appointment which is another 3 months down the line. And we are already there in the office, and was turned away. That is lack of consideration/respect for patients time. What good is a doctor if the doctor is not available for a patient. If they are overworked and overloaded with patients, it is not a good thing for patients. It is a waste of time to be elbowing people on the road, rushing to an appointment, only to find out that you are not welcome, ..what happened to the slogan "patients first"?"

"I normally would not write a review but my my internist and lab are at this location and I have never waited long and have had only good experiences. The desk staff, nurses and tech have all been efficient and friendly. I am a complainer but feel that I must write as the last review was not my experience. Also my blood is difficult to obtain so I need someone with good technique which I find here."
