"Response to the owner - A response like this from the owner speaks volumes about the type of place that this is SMELLS LIKE WEED INSIDE Unacceptable and inappropriate for a family with children to come into an establishment that smells of cannabis, irrespective if NJ allows recreational use. Food was just okay. The Pollo con mole poblano - the chicken was dry and the mole itself was quite bitter. The salsa verde sauce that accompanied the enchiladas with unpleasantly sour. The rice had a lot of hard, overcooked bits and the beans had a sour taste that was also off putting. Atmosphere - dark and dingy The weed smell issue has been noted in other reviews so, it's for real. I'd like to think that other fellow patrons that gave great reviews just had a better experience so hoping, for the restaurant sake, that the food itself was an outlier. Everything else could use a significant amount of improvement."

"Excellent Mexican food. I've made several visits and explored the menu thoroughly and can't speak highly enough about the quality and deliciousness of the food. The Chorizo dip appetizer will change your life. Easily one of the best restaurants in the region!"

"This place was soo delicious!! A little off the main road so it wasn’t over crowded. I got the combination plate with mole enchilada, fish taco, and burrito. The taco and burrito were delicious. I wasn’t a fan of the mole enchilada, it was a little bitter to me, but that was my first mole enchilada so maybe that’s how it should taste? Even the beans & rice that came with the dishes were delicious too - so creamy and flavorful. It is cash only, but there is an atm in the building. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, we will definitely be back!"

"The food here was so good! I love how this restaurant was kind of tucked away, and it was so cute and homey inside! The staff was so helpful and kind and the food came out quickly! They have huge portions that were all delicious!!"
