"Decided to change doctors while being pregnant, currently 12 weeks after going through IVF. Went to Dr Zimmerman for my first pre natal appointment. The office staff was highly unprofessional. I am a nurse myself and always try to give attention to my patients and treat them as people not "just a patient". They never greeted me when I came into the office, immediately was asking me if I have my records (from my infertility doctor) I was taken by surprise. My infertility doctors office was very efficient, and had told me they faxed the records a week prior. The nurse/MA not sure who she was kept calling me "sweetie" and then "ma'am" both of which I didn't appreciate. Dr Zimmerman did an ultrasound basically using an iphone device. Couldn't measure heart beat, couldn't tell me size. I am used to having a regular ultrasound with every visit and especially after going through IVF I was anxiously waiting to have a regular ultrasound. I also didn't appreciate her saying she would set me up with an endocrinologist in the summit medical group, after telling her I had my own endocrinologist. It seems like it's all a big business and each partner is just looking out for their colleague. Overall I didn't get good vibes and after the appointment I was running back to my previous OB/GYN who delivered my daughter. Despite not liking the hospital I delivered at with my daughter, hence wanting to change, I did love my doctor. For a pregnant woman it's very important to feel comfortable and I just didn't get that experience here."
