Pancakes were nice and fluffy, and french toast was a nice compliment. My only reservation was that the milkshake felt about room temperature and didn't go down as smoothly as expected."

"Where should I begin? On a mother’s day, we made the mistake to go to the IHOP in Bloomfield. Not only, we waited 15 minutes to be called for our table, 1 hour for our food but also as soon as we received our food, on my third bite, I almost swallowed a roach that was cooked along with my spinach and eggs. To make things worse, the manager I had to call to complain only offered to take the cost of my plate off the check and 10 percent off of the total as a courtesy. She was very apologetic but definitely didn’t do extra to make up for this horrific incident. After this experience, my entire day was ruined, and I could not eat the rest of the day. Plus, my 5 year old who saw the insect on my form was beyond scared to eat anything afterwards also. I wonder how many other people eat roaches with their eggs thinking they are eating spinach. IF POSSIBLE AVOID GOING TO THE IHOPS, ESPECIALLY THE BLOOMFIELD ONE."
"Waiting an hour for sad looking food on Mother’s Day….explains why restaurant wasn’t that busy. Of course we first tried a couple of the excellent local brunch places first, but the good ones had liens out the door. To top it all off, It would’ve been nice to not have had to ask for napkins…"
