With a rich history dating back to 1922 for Beth Israel and 1977 for Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, our grounds offer a peaceful resting place and a place of reflection for families and visitors. Spanning 168 acres, our park-like setting features meandering tree-lined avenues, vibrant flowering garden beds, and significant landmarks such as the Bible Garden and the Ten Commandments monument. The Bible Garden, a unique feature of Beth Israel Cemetery, is crafted from the authentic rock and soil of the Holy Land and was dedicated by Eleanor Roosevelt in 1957. Our prominent white stone monument, flanked by two majestic lions, stands as a solemn tribute to the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
