Old Yellow Meeting House
● OpenThe Old Yellow Meeting House, located at 72 Yellow Meetinghouse Road in Upper Freehold, New Jersey, is a historic tourist attraction that was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The Friends of the Old Yellow Meeting House work diligently to preserve and care for the Meeting House, Parsonage, and Cemetery, respecting the historical character and rural setting of the property. The institution will be open for Weekend in Old Monmouth on May 4th and 5th, 2024, and will also host a performance by Charlie, a popular balladeer, on August 18th at 6:00 pm. Dating back to the 1700s, the Old Yellow Meeting House is an important piece of New Jersey history. Although no longer used for regular worship services, the Meeting House is maintained by volunteers and open to the public during events or by special arrangement. The Parsonage is privately occupied and not open to the public.
