White Lake Natural Resource Area
β OpenThe White Lake Natural Resource Area is a stunning 469-acre park located in Hardwick Township, New Jersey. The highlight of the park is the beautiful White Lake, a 69-acre spring-fed lake with a unique white marl bottom. The park features a variety of habitats including meadows, limestone exposures, ponds, and forests. The area is home to endangered plant species and has historical points of interest such as a lime kiln and stone wall remnants. The park is managed in cooperation with the New Jersey Youth Corps, offering opportunities for youth to earn their GED while providing valuable community service. Visitors can enjoy activities such as walking, hiking, biking, horseback riding, paddling, fishing, and hunting (by permit only). The park also offers new trails, wildlife viewing, and kayaking opportunities. Hunting permits can be obtained at the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
