Mi-Place at First Radio
β OpenMi-Place at First Radio is a historic institution located at 450 Westfield Avenue West in Roselle Park, New Jersey. Founded by Guglielmo Marconi, the inventor of wireless communication, the complex was built in 1916 and served as the headquarters for the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company of America during World War I. It was also the site of WDY, one of the first radio broadcasting stations licensed in the U.S., hosting New Jersey's first radio broadcast in 1921.
