CityMD Ramsey Urgent Care - New Jersey

"So apparently the doctor didn’t really listen to me as I told her what I was taking and she called in the nasal spray that I was already taking. So now I have her name and I looked her up and she has nothing but negative reviews about her, all saying the same thing. Hello, I just wanted to post about an unpleasant experience experience I had today. I have been sick for 2 1/2weeks with sinus symptoms and a bad cough. I went to CVS minute clinic on Saturday where I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and ear infection. I was giving antibiotics for only 5 days, which is not a typical coarse. So I went to City MD in Ramsey today because I’m still not 100% and I have to get on a plane tomorrow. I should say that I am a nurse and very rarely go to the dr, I generally wait until I’m extremely ill. I go in, extremely my symptoms and length of time. I explain what I am on and my concerns. The dr was extremely rude, barely examined me. She got in my face and told me that it was viral and that she’s not a dispensary. She treated me like a drug addict. Telling me that I should be taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 6hrs for the ear pain and sinus pressure and it was basically my fault that I wasn’t feeling better because I wasn’t do that. I’ve never been treated so poorly before in my life. I get we as healthcare workers are overworked, but that is not a way to treat a patient at all."

"Do not under any circumstance go there. The doctors are 2nd rate and City MD could care less about you. I went there after a positive test for covid. Without examining me or looking at my medical history including diabetes and being 68 which is high risk the doctor suggested I had a mild case, it should clear in a few days and walked out of the room without ever telling me how I should treat my symptoms or isolate myself. It is a very dangerous place."

"Always receive prompt and attentive service here. Medical staff is professional and to the point in addressing urgent needs. Be sure that they update your recolor of the visit thoroughly in the patient portal. They need to improve on that based on several visits I have made there with limited information on the visit noted."

"Not sure of all the negative reviews, but I’ve always had a great experience. Particularly today, I got in a little after 9am with a handful of people ahead of me and was out by 10am. Dr. Nguyen and staff were friendly and patient. She took the time to understand my issue. I had previously went to a different urgent care for this same cold and got no help at all. Should have came here first!"

"I had a wonderful experience at the City MD Ramsey Urgent care. Everything was very efficient and everyone was very kind and professional. I was in and out in an hour including having X-rays. The doctor was wonderful and explained everything. I actually had to followup with an orthopedist and they set everything up for me. I had my doctor’s visit today and I am very happy with the results. Very positive experience!!"
