Moving in was very simple and overall any minor issues have been solved with the administration and the staff very rapidly. Priscilla has been very responsive and helpful. "Worst management I ever experience Extremely Dissatisfied with Parkwood Place Apartments Management I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction with the management at Parkwood Place Apartments. As a resident for over a year now, I can confidently say that this has been the worst management experience I have ever encountered. Allow me to illustrate this by comparing to were i still obtain a lease for the past three years at West Mill Gardens, located at 141 Old Short Hills Rd., West Orange, NJ 07052. Since moving to Parkwood Place Apartments in June 2022, I have noticed no discernible improvement in my living situation compared to when I resided in West Orange. This can be attributed to the team of individuals who have made it possible - Ruby, the security officer, and Tito maintenance manager, and the dedicated maintenance staff. Throughout the past year, any issue I encountered was promptly addressed by Ruby and Tito, who worked tirelessly to resolve them. However, the same cannot be said for the management office, where I have experienced a severe lack of communication. It seems that there is either no one present in the office or that calls go unanswered. Leaving a message rarely yields any response. Allow me to highlight the stark contrast in my experiences with Ruby and Tito compared to the property manager, Priscilla, who has been the source of my worst encounters at Parkwood Place Apartments. Firstly, it is disconcerting that the office is frequently unoccupied or unresponsive during regular business hours. Furthermore, Priscilla's conduct towards staff members has been manipulative and disrespectful, as witnessed on two separate occasions where she openly cursed and degraded an employee in front of tenant and others In contrast, Ruby's exceptional work ethic and moral compass make her an ideal candidate for an office management position; she consistently demonstrates integrity in her actions. Now, let me address the incident that truly exemplifies the poor management experience I have endured. When I informed the office that I would be terminating my lease after being given the runaround for three months, Priscilla's reaction was noticeably negative. Subsequently, she denied me access to the courtyard to retrieve my belongings during the move-out process. It is important to note that the courtyard was vacant at the time, without any contractors or obstructions. This decision forced me to park on the street and transport my belongings back and forth, significantly prolonging the moving process. This treatment left me feeling degraded and humiliated, as if I were being treated as a lesser individual. It is worth mentioning that throughout my tenancy, I consistently paid my rent and adhered to the highest standards of conduct. Parkwood Place Apartments undoubtedly has the potential to be a great community, thanks to the hardworking staff. However, the management, spearheaded by Priscilla, is nothing short of a cancer to the Parkwood community. I implore you to investigate these matters thoroughly and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

"I’ve been living here since Jan 2022 and I’m learning to appreciate the place more every month. It peaceful especially in the summer with all the flowers and fresh grass, the grounds are taken care. The maintenance are available as needed. The area is a good area for people looking for some quiet time. The building has a lot of older people and families so be mindful. Management is available as needed and good at mediation. Neighbor will call security if your music is on past 10pm even on a Friday or Saturday, FYI."

"Wonderful place to live. I don’t normally do reviews ,I really enjoy living here , the maintenance crew is awesome, If you are ever locked out or need something done , all 4 have helped me out after hours , they answer anytime . there’s surveillance cameras, laundry units per building, a parking lot & as for the neighbors they’re all super polite. i feel safe and get a quiet night’s sleep, the apartments are clean and fresh ! There’s so much to love about this complex! It’s a gated community, there’s security 24/7."
