Welcome to the Romanian Orthodox Church located at 35 Fairmount Road, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450. Serving as a spiritual home for Romanians in Northern New Jersey and its surrounding areas, our church is a place of worship and community. Our journey began on March 13, 2011, when Father Ioan Proteasa celebrated the first Holy Liturgy in the Alpine, NJ community church. On July 9, 2011, our congregation was blessed by His Eminence Dr. NATHANIEL Popp, Bishop of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, and was named “Saint John the Wallachian Mission.”
