"Dan and wife, Patty, run D & B Pools, and they are excellent with the pool services they provide. I switched over to them over 12 years ago, as I was not happy with the firm that installed my pool, as it was sold. Changing over to D & B has been nothing but a wonderful move for me and my pool. Dan is a perfectionist, which I appreciate. He closes my pool every year, and when I open it in May, there is never any algae, and the chemicals are all pretty close to perfect. He has also done various line maintenance for me, installed a new pool liner, a heater and pool pumps. I think they are affordable, and again, the work they/he does is always flawless. I highly recommend D & B Pools. 11/22 UPDATE – today I was home when Dan closed my pool, just himself and a very nice helper – what’s wonderful about Dan, well for me, but not for him, is that he not only manages his business with his wife, but he does ALL of the work himself, which he has done/been working on pools, since he was teenager, so he knows a thing or two, for Shirley! I always kid him and say “in another 3-5 years, you’re gonna be really good at what you do!” – case in point, he’s blowing out the lines, and he waits for well over a minute, after the water stops, of just pure air bowing out, before he closes the line – who does that and is not a in rush to finish/go on to the next house and would cap it the second it stopped blowing water? – and I am sure he has at least 6-8 closings today – he also has system, of course, with the order of the closing – I was amazed at how precise he was and I am happy to pay him, rather than try it myself trust me, Dan and his wife Patty, who works the front half of the business, are the real deal and can be trusted (a term that is used rarely these days) to perform quality work for a reasonable price"
