Welcome to the Kearny Fire Department, proudly serving the community since its inception on January 4, 1888. Located at 110 Maple Street, Kearny, New Jersey, our fire station is a cornerstone of safety and commitment in the heart of Kearny. Our dedicated team of professionals is devoted to protecting the lives and property of our residents through education, training, fire prevention, rescue operations, fire suppression, and emergency medical services. Our rich history dates back to the formation of the "Volunteer Firemen of Arlington" in 1880, evolving into a fully organized department that has grown alongside our vibrant community. With four strategically positioned stations, we cover an area of nine square miles, safeguarding approximately 40,000 residents.
