"I’ll give it 5 stars because the ice cream is indeed very good, even if I don’t think it is the best in NJ (as it has been referenced) and not as good as at least one other option in northern NJ (Denville Dairy). The service is good. Even if there are a lot of people waiting, they keep it moving quick with up to 7 windows serving at a time. It’s worth a trip and for sure is one of the best places for ice cream in the area."

"Cliff’s ice cream cart was a huge hit at our wedding (and we also love supporting this local business)! We had 4 flavors for guests to choose from plus a bunch of toppings. Everything went smoothly from the planning process to the day of, and the staff member was wonderful too. My husband and I stop by Cliff's regularly and cannot recommend their ice cream, and now also their cart catering services, enough. Thank you Cliff's!"
"Love this place. Always so many flavors to choose from. Sky scrapers are the coolest. Staff is always helpful and patient. But I will say their matcha green tea needs more matcha flavor."
"I know Cliff's is ranked as the #1 Homemade Ice Cream in NJ but it is not for me. I tried a scoop of the Maple Walnut. The taste of the ice cream and the pieces of walnut were great, however I am not a fan of the ice cream. It has a waxy feel for me and is super dense. We also tried the vanilla soft serve. This too was a miss for me. This also was super dense and has an almost waxy feel. The lines moved quickly, the service was friendly, the area was clean, the prices are high but I am willing to pay for something that hits the spot. This was just a miss for me. The search continues!"
