"Absolutely horrible experience getting a hitch installed through this location. The entire hitch came loose while we were driving not even a week after it was installed and nearly caused a accident while we were towing our boat. When we called to complain and a very nice lady referred us to another location and got a detailed report of how poorly the Totowa location installed the hitch including using rusted bolts and not installing them appropriately as well as doing a poor job installing the wiring. This was all after the guy talked up his performance installing it and how many favors he did for us. I intentionally got a hitch that could handle triple the tongue weight and towing capacity of the boat we have to reduce wear and tear on the trailer which is even more evidence of how poorly this was installed. After calling several times and being told the GM is only there at 7 am and on Sunday’s we’re now forced to take our efforts to the next level. My wife was called a liar as well while she was in the store today by the associate that helped her. The incompetents and inability to take responsibility for their actions is disgusting and would never want another family to put their kids and loved ones in danger like we did which is why this review is being written."

"Extremely disappointed as I was moving from NJ to Florida and not only did I wait over 3 hrs for the installation of my hitch but they forgot to install a piece for the trailer. I had to travel 40 minutes to another location to get a trailer that was the right size and when I got there was told about the missing part. I had to go drive to the auto parts store and buy it myself, taking time and money I wasn't planning on. Yes they refunded me for the part I paid for but were extremely unprofessional, wasted my time and on top of that I had a loose wire flapping from the back of my trunk halfway through out trip. I also noticed half my bumper was dented in and was unable to get any assistance with customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do. Would never recommend this location to anyone."
