Memorial Auditorium, located at 1 East Normal Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, is a versatile proscenium theater that caters to Montclair State University and the local community. This state-of-the-art facility hosts a wide range of performances and presentations, including dance, drama, concerts, lectures, and more. With a seating capacity of 988 (expandable to 1,000), the auditorium offers comfortable cushioned seating with excellent acoustics. The stage features a 9-foot Steinway Concert Grand Piano and ample space for various types of performances. The gridiron, equipped with a 31 line t-track fly system, allows for seamless scene changes and stage effects. A Wenger acoustical shell can be rolled away for concerts, accommodating both small ensembles and large orchestras.
