The Springfield Community Pool, located at 44 Morrison Road in Springfield, New Jersey, is a partnership between the Summit Area YMCA and the Township of Springfield. This expansive facility spans over 15 acres and offers a variety of amenities for its members to enjoy, including a main pool, kiddie pool, water slide, diving board, playground, picnic area, basketball and volleyball courts, and more. The pool is open through Labor Day and offers activities such as free swim, lap swim, aquatic exercise, summer day camp, swim lessons, swim team, and social events. Founded in 1886 as the Young Men’s Christian Association, the Summit Area YMCA is now known as The Y and is dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
