"I used to like this store. There was a short girl that came up to me and was very helpful good energy. But her boss the blonde headed lurch looking guy pulled her away because he didn’t like our conversation. Never judge a book by its colors and she seemed punk ish but she was normal as anyone else BUT this guy didn’t like that she was getting attention by having a normal conversation. Not to mention everytime I went in there he wasn’t very pleasant hence the name lurch. More people like her less like him. MEANING no personality whatsoever. Probably the same guy everyone on here is complaining about."

"This store is the best Spencer’s I’ve ever been in. All the staff were super friendly and helpful in helping me buy some pretty fun stuff ;) would definitely shop here again and plan on doing so. Very nice!"

"I used to come to this store all the time and spend so much money. Buying toy, cleaning solution, buy the hi chew candies, chat up the employees there etc I can tell you I will NOT step foot into the store location ever again after the way I was treated. After searching for the rose, an employee (with long black hair ) helped me pick out I was grateful. She then asked if she can “hold my items at the counter so I can more arm space”… I literally only had candy and a small spray in my hand. I have never been asked this before. Obviously knew where this was going I just gave her my items. She walks off. And begins to stand in the aisle next to us. I started talking to my friend for awhile on what she wanted to buy as it was her first time EVER buy toys. 10 minutes MAX! The same employee was watching us pretending to fix the items behind us. Not even 3 minutes later another employee (with natural curly hair) came up to us with the nasties condescending tone and I am not kidding this is word from word what she said “I noticed you’ve been back here for a while so do you need help finding anything” … I know you just saw your employee help me find what I was looking for and I know you see my friend and I just talking. I said no I’m just talking to my friend. I had the box I was holding VISIBLE in my hand because I know how stores are and how a person who look like me they may think I was stealing. So I kept the box up and visible. Not even going in my bag for chapstick but still we were watched and approached… after she walked away the other employee was still watching us. I work in retail and know how things are but that was a bit much I literally wanted to say “I’m not stealing please stop watching me” it’s creepy especially if you’re talking to your friend about personally things about the product. if you have to watch people in your store like that get a camera system and put the motors behind your counter and watch from there. Don’t hover around people while the other approach us as if we have a time limit to discuss products! And maybe you do have theft problem but don’t scare away your LOYAL customers who aren’t stealing. As the employee was ringing me up she had a complete attitude and was nasty. I honestly wanted to not buy those items but of course if I didn’t they would’ve had another made up reason in their head to escalate the situation further to think I had stole something. She switched up and was nice to my friend but nasty to me. I will never come back into that store. You made me feel completely uncomfortable and like I did something wrong and I didn’t! Check your cameras if you felt a type of way. I still have my receipt and will be calling corporate about this situation."

"My friends and I went in today looking for nothing specific as I think we can all agree it is a funny store to be in. While looking around we picked up a pair of earrings and placed them back, not where they were supposed to go but in the same area. While going to a different section of the store, one of the workers proceeded to follow us pretending to do things like they were working. As we were getting ready to leave they asked where the earrings were and we said they were back in the area where we found them. They proceeded to tell us they did not see us put them back, essentially accusing us of stealing. Not once did they ask nicely where they were or what we did with them. It was straight assuming in an extremely rude manner. I as well as my friends felt extremely offended and discriminated against. Not once have I or anyone I associate myself with have stolen anything from anywhere."

"My husband and I are not very happy! The girl who was working was very rude to us! We are not from around the area and our home store is different; We accidentally went behind the Point of sale counter and didn’t know until the associate told us and was rude about it. The associate could’ve had a more polite attitude about the matter. Absolutely ridiculous!!!"
