The Loop Playground, located in Mountainside, New Jersey, is a popular tourist attraction and park within the Trailside Nature & Science Center in the Watchung Reservation. This environmental education center offers a serene setting with woodlands, fields, lakes, streams, and hiking trails, making it the perfect place to have fun while learning about the natural world. Renovated in September 2006, the Center features 4,500 square feet of interactive, state-of-the-art exhibits, including a towering 34-foot American beech tree exhibit. The facility also includes classrooms with views of the Reservation, a multipurpose room, a library, a children's discovery room, and a 250-seat auditorium.
