Azteca Mexican Restaurant

"I’ve been eating at Azteca since they were located in Tom’s River. Every time the food exceeds my expectations. They have plenty of vegetarian options (the nachos are my favorite) and the food is fairly priced as well, and they give you large portions. Their desserts are delicious, also! Definitely one of my favorites!"

"Very good! Azteca is an unassuming little place. We were looking for a quick (but not fast food) dinner around 7 PM on a Friday night. It was empty! There is seating for dine-in service, and they offer takeout. We elected to dine in. The server was very courteous and professional. Dining area is clean and set up nicely. There is a small area fir people to wait while their pick up orders are being prepared. The food was really good. I enjoyed the shrimp in garlic sauce. My husband had the Oaxaca fajitas (chicken, steak and shrimp). I didn't have any, but it smelled delicious, and my husband really liked his food. He said it was well seasoned. The sides for both dishes included rice and a little shredded lettuce salad. I was able to substitute black beans for the refried beans (I just don't like them). The fajitas also came with sour cream and a little guacamole. In addition to our meals, we had a Coke and a Seltzer. The total was approx $48 before tip. Not bad at all. I'll definitely come back."

"Our first time eating at Azteca was a great experience. The food was so tasty, plentiful and fresh! Perfectly seasoned food. The wait staff was very courteous. We had quesadillas and burritos but I'm sure you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Azteca is tucked away on Chambers Bridge Road so give it a try. Totally delicious!"

"Azteca above all is a bang for your buck sort of place where you are able to get a pretty solid meal, that isn't gimmicky or trash, for a reasonable price. I didn't think that they would come in trays, big 5x12 trays, as friends described. But they did and they definitely filled you up. Their Cubano sandwich is awesome as well as their burritos, rice, and beans. I'm not sure if it's the mixture of cooking oils and avocado, it just was a bit rich for me. Definitely can be heavy on the stomach, but still an excellent meal to have!"

"Amazing!! All the food is super fresh, and super authentic! Best Mexican food in Brick!!! Oh and I did forget to mention the best black beans and rice I’ve ever eaten! And don’t sleep on that delicious and simple salad side dish, it’s like if pico and antipasto had a little baby, delicious! And the Azteca Burrito has a creamy sauce that is amazing as well!"
