Ronnie's Hot Bagels Hillsdale

"Awesome bagel shop in downtown Hillsdale across from the train station. Love their homemade orange juice and the crumb cake but their bagel sandwiches are to die for."

"First and foremost. The “owner” has absolutely no integrity at all. He response to Lisa is a complete lie. Is both being in the military we all know that we don’t leave a mess anywhere. We also did not step foot in his store. After his abnoxius comment we both got up with our food and began our road trip. Check the rest of his reviews. It is a disgrace to a country I defended, obtained combat injuries and an extremely disappointed people like the “owner” of Ronnie’s exist. Very unprofessional and angry little old man"

"It’s now a nice Saturday afternoon and my fiancé and I went to go grab bratwursts from the hotdog stand in Hillsdale. This was always a fun tradition for me, as I grew up in the area. So, we sat at the tables near by and the owner of Ronnie’s Bagels actually came outside and told us,”you can’t eat hot dogs at MY tables.” It wasn’t like Ronnie’s was packed and anyone was waiting for the tables. He literally said he would call the cops if we didn’t move. I’m sure dispatch laughed at you, as the cops have much better things to do. Definitely a major change since I was a kid."

"Stopped in this place randomly, they had a real nice selection of bagels, which got me pretty excited. I even sent a picture to a buddy of mine! Showing off things like the French toast bagel and the jalapeño cheddar bagel. So I gave it my standard test, Taylor ham egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel. My First hint was when I received the bag. It was not warm, and had very little weight to it. When I opened the wrapping my heart was broken. The Taylor ham and egg were so meager that I would have likely ended up with more to eat if I asked for a peanut butter sandwich. Even if I asked to double the egg and meat, it would have still been less than any of my normal spots. (The bag wasn’t hot because the bagel was not toasted) but I’m not even holding that against them. Some places do a great job, but I end up having to ask for double egg and double Taylor ham. Which won’t stop me from going back there. I just know I will have to spend the extra money to have it done right. This spot does not warrant a second chance."
