"I've been here for apple picking before but this is the first time I've been here for peach picking. I came here with a few friends and their baby on a Sunday at 1. You have to pre-purchase tickets for a certain time slot online ahead of time. Admission is $5 per person, and it's $18 for a bag to put your peaches in, which holds about 10-12 lbs (according to their website). Parking and the store are on one side, and then you have to cross a large street to get over to the orchards. We went on the second weekend of peaches and a lot of them weren't really ready to be picked yet. But we did manage to get some good peaches. They even have donut peaches! But not a lot so you really have to keep an eye out. We shared a bag and must have gotten maybe 50 peaches or so (they're small). I'd definitely recommend sharing a bag because the peaches don't last that long. There were a few that went moldy the next day. Overall, it's an okay farm. There are better ones out there but if you don't want to drive too far, this option isn't bad."

"This place looks good. I walked in very excited when I learned they are natural products. I only wanted to taste one blueberry before purchasing it. most grocery stores allow this. I didn't want to taste it without permission and asked the employees there. The bespectacled girl at the counter told me no, you can't try it. I didn't expect this answer. Just one blueberry, it's like a joke… I left without buying anything"

"As the crisp air of early fall starts to grace the landscapes of northern Jersey, some people wait all year for that’s pumpkin spice latte while others are more of the apple cider donut type. Being the first Saturday in autumn, my partner and I went to get the best-of-the-best apple cider donut from one of Bergen County’s farms, made fresh daily and just oozing with apple cidery goodness. Located in Hillsdale, the Demarest Farm is our go-to place at their farm market for those donuts. Upon entering, it wasn’t a mad house; only a few patrons, as the rain kept most away. They offer three types (plain, powered sugar, and cinnamon sugar). A small box of five donuts was $7.49. Box of 10 donuts was $14.99. We decided on a small box each of powered sugar and cinnamon sugar along with a 1/2 gallon of their apple cider juice. The donuts have just the right amount of ingredients and cooked to perfection. Besides donuts, they had a variety of baked goods, prepared foods and snacks, as well as fruits and vegetables. The food is not cheap, but it is good. We can still recommend it, but come early."
