The Best Mountain climbing in Hillsborough, New Hampshire

Dublin Trailhead, located in Dublin, New Hampshire, United States, is a park that serves as the starting point for hikers looking to explore Mount Monadnock. Recently relocated with the help of a Hillsborough Eagle Scout, the trailhead project was completed by the Forest Society to ensure safe and sustainable recreational opportunities for the over 100,000 visitors that climb the mountain each year. The new parking lot can accommodate 20 vehicles and the improved trail leads through a picturesque forested area next to a mountain brook. The project was part of a 15-year effort to address congestion and overcrowding at the historic Dublin trailhead. Eagle Scout Caleb Howard and his crew of volunteers spent 80 hours rerouting a three-quarter mile section of the trail, cutting trees, removing brush, and clearing debris. The project was seen as an educational opportunity and a way to promote a safe and productive work environment by the Forest Society.
