The Colosseum Restaurant

"Overall this was an excellent spot for dinner. We had a large party, 20+ people and they were able to accommodate our seating. I ordered the shrimp and steak dinner, it was on the specials list. It was extremely pricy for dinner considering the shrimp was over cooked but still edible and the steak tips were severely under cooked. I ordered them medium-well and received medium-rare. The middle of one of the pieces was so rare it was dark red and bloody. Needless to say I didn't eat the steak. I didn't send my meal back to the kitchen to be fixed. I took it home and recooked it myself. The waiter was excellent. He was on top of everyone's drinks and orders and was visible if something was needed."

"We had Susan as our waitress the other night and she was wonderful. Made sure we were well taken care of. The food was phenomenal. Everything. I can’t say enough good things about the flavor. They have their own take on Sangria and it’s the right one. Lots of fruit and not dry, very tasty. The desserts were delish as well. The price for what you get for a lovely night at a very nice restaurant is by far the best I’ve seen especially in today’s times. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a very good date night dinner."

"I've been to this restaurant a few times since it's opening. This past time we went on a Sunday evening. They were out of alot of choices on the menu. You expect a good bread to be served while you are waiting for your food. They must have been out of that also and ran to market basket to get cheap rolls. The bread was horrible. Would I go back? No. There are so many other restaurants that are I would rather go ."

"Stopped on the way home from amusement park. Place looked amazing. The food was excellent. It was on a Wed and probably not the busiest. Waitress came by a few times but disappeared before I even had a chance to ask for another drink or anything. The service wasn't bad but that one thing gives u a minus star on that. In ne case the food was very tasty. Hats off to the chef. Felt a bit underdressed for the establishment at that time. However, everyone was friendly and accommodated everything."

"I had to host 35 people last minute when my reservations for another spot fell through. I'm unfamiliar with the area, so when I called around and they were available and happy to host me, I didn't know what to expect. But oh, our experience was great! The food was amazing and the staff was attentive and friendly. Everyone left happy and grateful. Next time we will make our reservations to The Colosseum the first time.I can't thank them enough."
