The William N. Pennington Engineering Building, located in Reno, Nevada, is a state-of-the-art facility designed to foster innovation in engineering education and research. With a total of 100,000 square feet, the building houses 40 laboratories, a Class 100 cleanroom, a computer lab, a large classroom, and workstations for graduate students. One of the standout features of the building is the ISO-5 (Class 100) Cleanroom, which allows for cutting-edge research in biosensing and nanotechnology by reducing air contaminants to levels not otherwise achievable in Nevada. This cleanroom enables research in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and mechanical engineering.
