United Cerebral Palsy of Nevada (UCP) is a local non-profit organization in Northern Nevada dedicated to providing support for individuals with disabilities to learn vocational and life skills. With two Thrift Stores in Sparks and Elko, UCP employs 77 individuals with disabilities, supported by 21 direct support professionals and 6 retail staff. Our mission is to promote independence, productivity, and full citizenship for people with disabilities. At UCP, Team Members gain valuable work experience in the retail industry, including processing donations, organizing merchandise, and providing customer service. We also offer job development services to help participants search for and secure community employment opportunities. Our Day Habilitation programs focus on life skills development, social activities, and community engagement.
