The Physiology of Walking & Engineering Rehabilitation Laboratory (PoWER Lab) is located at 14090 Mother Teresa Lane in Boys Town, Nebraska, United States. This human neuroscience laboratory, under the direction of Dr. Max Kurz, focuses on sensory information processing, motor actions, and learning new motor skills. The lab aims to develop innovative rehabilitative solutions for individuals with developmental disabilities using neuroimaging and biomechanical engineering analyses. Research outcomes are aimed at creating new technologies and therapeutic approaches to improve cognition, mobility, and motor actions in patients with developmental disabilities.
