Penguin and Puffin

This zoo is home to four different species of penguins and two types of puffins, all living in a chilly habitat surrounded by rocky cliffs and frigid water. Opened in 2003, Penguin and Puffin Coast was the first open-air penguin habitat of its kind in North America, featuring specialized lighting that mimics the animals' natural environments in the wild. One of the main attractions at Penguin and Puffin Coast is Humboldt Haven, an outdoor habitat for Humboldt penguins complete with a stunning 22-foot waterfall and nesting chambers.
