On Friday, April 5, the Children's Mercy Northland location will be open for Save My Spot appointments only, with walk-in appointments unavailable. Visitors will need to pass through the main lobby on the Ground floor and check in with Guest Services before proceeding to their destination. The Same Day Surgery entrance is permanently closed, and patients and families will now check in at the main hospital entrance. Due to construction, there is limited space in the Adele Hall Emergency Department waiting room, with only 2 caregivers allowed per patient. Free valet services are available at the Main Circle Drive and Emergency Room lot. The Guest Services team is available to assist with directions and escort visitors to their destination within the hospital. The institution offers a range of amenities and support, including the region's highest-level neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and the region's only Level I pediatric trauma center. Walk-in X-rays are available 24/7 with an order from a provider.
