Welcome to Reifsnider Missouri Conservation Area, a serene natural park located in Warrenton, Missouri. Nestled within the beautiful Frank, Emma Elizabeth, and Edna Reifsnider State Forest, our conservation area offers a wide array of outdoor activities for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Explore the great outdoors with hiking, sightseeing, and nature observation, or engage in more active pursuits such as horseback riding, cycling, and camping.

Visitors can also enjoy fishing, hunting, and trapping, subject to specific regulations outlined in Chapter 11 of the Wildlife Code. Please refer to the Wildlife Code or contact us for detailed information on area regulations. Our park is open daily from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with certain activities like fishing and camping permitted 24 hours a day in designated areas.

While enjoying the natural beauty of Reifsnider Missouri Conservation Area, please adhere to posted regulations and respect the park's rules to ensure the protection of our wildlife and plant resources. Activities such as collecting wild plants or animals, using remote-controlled vehicles, and engaging in commercial advertising are restricted to preserve the area's natural integrity.

For those planning group activities, such as cycling or equestrian use, or extended camping stays, a special use permit may be required. Please submit your application at least 30 days in advance to ensure a seamless experience.

"If you shoot into the dirt birm and not the target the gestapo will have a stern talking to you. Don't shoot the random trash in the range too. It free so there is that."

"Wonderful place to get the kids and dog out in nature. You can walk along the creek or take the hiking path. Picnic tables are surrounded by shade. The handful of times we've been there all the guests have been friendly and will greet you. An hour from St. Louis for us. Very nice day trip."

"Went target shooting with Dad. I need to practice for my security qualifications. Waited for the 25 yard group to leave, and I didn't realize I had gotten a sunburn standing out there in the sun. A beautiful day though! I also didn't do too bad with the shooting. It was a good day."

"State park with an outdoor shooting range ,sidearms , long barrel high-power Firearms and never leave the shot guns behind. Take them all with you and go have safe and friendly moment exercising your right to do... Please be safe.... The photo was taken on the short range , 40 cal & 9mm pistols were used on this day.."
