Greentree Pediatric Dentistry - Dr. Maren Pratt, DDS, MS

"I would give 0 stars if I could. After switching a few years ago to the dentist we see now, thank God for that, we have been made aware several times of the sloppy work our children have had in the past. More than one of our children has gone in to be put under by Dr. Pratt needing minimum work done and actually just coming out with a full mouth of gear/work done. I can't tell you how many times these unnecessary crowns have fallen off and the tooth under it is completely fine and a proper tooth. Our dentist has told us each time that the tooth should have just been filled rather than capped/crowned. The teeth are basically perfect with a shaved top. It is clear after multiple problems having been corrected by our dentist we switched to that the work done that was again unnecessary after being told but the work was also sloppily done. So, not only did Dr. Pratt do all of this unneeded work on our children but it is clear this was all done to just stack up a bill. While going to Green Tree, our daughter had a visit for a painful capped tooth (Pratt's work) and was sent home that day without antibiotics just to have to go into the ER that night with a massive abscess having to then have the tooth pulled. The ER couldn't believe the situation our child was in because of neglectful care and how much pain she was now having to endure. This abscess was present during her appointment at Green Tree. We were told the tooth was not properly treated before capping and because of this bacteria built up under the cap after getting a second opinion closer to home with x-rays. Again, sloppy work. This was the last straw for us. Don't even get me started on the front desk and Wendy. The way they speak to you in general and your children is conniving and all around disrespectful. Wendy seems to live in the clouds and honestly aside from her being strange she is just down right rude to anyone I've seen walk into that office. There is no hospitality in Green Tree whatsoever. The reviews on here are mostly people the office knows personally or those that actually work alongside the practice. Almost 5 stars, there is just no way after what I have heard from other practices/dentistry's and those who have experienced this place themselves. I am so grateful we now have a proper dentist these last few years and someone who actually is educated on what they are doing and doesn't want to tear apart our children's mouths at random just to make a buck while they are under sedation. We are relieved to be able to trust someone as well as their entire staff with our children. As parents, we want the best for our children and medical manipulation including the again unnecessary and sloppy work at that in my opinion is nothing less than malpractice. I am not sure how insurance is approving the amount of work she is doing when there is no actual proof for her random treatment plan. After completing the sedated procedure Dr. Pratt will come out to only tell you there was actually more work that needed to be done but she wasn't aware until "getting in there". I still have never seen any x-rays showing why all of this work was needed for our kids and have only had other dentists tell me that 90% of the work should have never been done to begin with. Do not waste your time and save your children from this place."

"The only reason this dentist has a good rating is because she has family and friends leave fictitious reviews. This woman should not be practicing dentistry. She caps teeth that do not even need capped just to bill your insurance. This is SCARY! not to mention the receptionist is the rudest most incompetent person I have ever encountered. STAY AWAY!"

"First Dental Visit Our daughter has (2) teeth now! We knew we wanted a pediatric dentist we could trust. Dr. Pratt at Greentree Pediatric Dentistry thank you for taking such good care of our daughter. You made her very comfortable and showed us what you were doing in such a fun way. She loved the dinosaur and big toothbrush. You took time to answer all my questions and explain easy and fun ways to start our toothbrush journey. Your staff was super nice and your office is clean with a welcoming environment geared towards kids. I highly recommend Dr. Pratt to anyone looking for a great Pediatric Dentist. We look forward to our next visit."

"Two friends recommended this dentist to me. I was looking to switch dentist for my children. I called and was able to make an appointment for my son within a few days. Our visit was great. Everyone was nice and professional. Dr. Pratt was great with my son. He had to get a little work done that he was not happy about, but she was very talkative and encouraging with him. I think it helped ease his anxiety. The office it set up great for kids as well. Lots to keep them busy while they wait to be seen. I definitely recommend this dentist if you are looking for one."
