A-1 Roofing Renovation and Construction

"Professional people & quality workmanship from roof estimate to installation, all the way through clean-up! We were replacing roofs at two homes for family members living on the same street. We received three bids, and ultimately chose A1 for their thorough inspection at estimate time, as well as their competitive pricing. I give Taren an A+ for communication before, during, and even after roof installation! He sent several photos throughout the day, providing visual updates of progress. The crew was respectful of our property, and took care and attention around our home, even moving our patio furniture and flower pots out of the way. At my family member's home, there are large landscaping beds around the house, full of spring flowers and not a single plant was harmed. Work was complete inside of one day at my home, and the next day at the second home - crews began at 8:30 am and were totally finished by 6:00 pm. My 10-year-old was curious and interested in the machinery and process, and any time a crew member saw her watching through the window, they always smiled and waved to her. Taren came that evening and inspected our property for proper cleanup, as well as checking over everything up on top of the roof. The cleanup was extra thorough - our driveway and areas around the house are cleaner after the job than they were before! Taren had identified an issue with one of the gutters (installed by the previous homeowner) and came back the following day to fix the problem and re-situate the gutter for better drainage - for FREE. We chose Williamsburg Gray, the Owens-Corning Color of the Year for 2024, and it is just perfect for our mid-century modern house. My family member went with Owens Corning Sand Castle colorway. "The new Roof they installed leaked 3 times in less than 5 years, ruined drywall on ceiling never even offered to repair it . They will not honer thier own warranty! lousy workmanship no call backs lousy customer service poor quality workmanship stay away from this company. Update, has now leaked in the living room, insurance adjuster yet again stated poor workmanship. Lawsuit under way."

"Absolutely horrible customer service. Initially we were told 1 1/2 weeks out for our gutter work to be completed. I realize things happen, things get pushed back. 6 weeks later and we are still waiting. Workers showed up this morning, no phone call, no heads up, nothing. We are out of town today. It certainly would have been appropriate and appreciated if someone had reached out before just showing up. We prefer to not have someone working on our house while we’re aren’t there. Every step of the way, we had to call to find out the status on when our job might completed. Zero contact from the company!"

After initial contact with insurance, they helped by taking more pictures and sending them to the insurance adjuster to show exactly what was needed. The workers did the job in 1 day, and left my yard and driveway cleaner than when they came. Amazing work and awesome, kind, hard working people.
