"Dr. Brown at Midwest Dental is undoubtedly amicable and knowledgeable, providing a sense of comfort and expertise during appointments. However, my recent interaction with the receptionist tarnished my overall experience and left me deeply troubled. Unfortunately, the receptionist's demeanor was far from polite and even veered into rudeness, causing me significant emotional distress. Additionally, I must caution future patients about the discrepancies in out-of-pocket estimates provided by the office. Despite trusting that a preauthorization would be run before finalizing my treatment plan, I was shocked to discover that my total out-of-pocket costs had doubled a few month after the treatment, plunging me into a personal financial crisis. When seeking clarification regarding the discrepancy between the explanation of benefits and the bill, I encountered resistance and a lack of compassion from the receptionist. Despite multiple calls to my insurance provider and their recommendation to contact the dental office for resolution, the receptionist refused to engage in constructive dialogue or assist with rectifying the issue. Instead, she callously dismissed my concerns, stating that the adiitional amount was insignificant and implying that my financial situation was inconsequential. Feeling utterly disrespected and disregarded, I attempted to explore alternative avenues for resolving the matter, only to be met with impatience and an abrupt hangup from the receptionist. This encounter left me with no choice but to discontinue my treatment plan at Midwest Dental to avoid further distressing interactions."

But today I booked a appointment online and I called today cause I had a emergency for a abscess tooth. I asked if they had any open times for my situation, she abruptly said NO, we are short staffed too then hung up. Can't believe how rude people are these day. Found another place in south county that was nice answering the phone, listened to what i needed and fit me in their busy schedule!"
