Kirkwood High School Walker Natatorium
Kirkwood High School Walker Natatorium is a secondary school located at 686-730 Chopin Drive in Kirkwood, Missouri, United States. The institution recently held two awards ceremonies, the first being the Kirkwood School District Foundation's presentation of named scholarship awards in the Donald Duchek Library, followed by the Senior Awards presentation in the Keating Theater. The school celebrated 74 senior students who will receive scholarships covering 50% or more of their collegiate tuition. Additionally, the Kirkwood High School Mock Trial Team won the Missouri High School Mock Trial Competition, and a sculpture created by junior Elias Muraski was selected to represent Missouri Senate District 2 in the state capitol. In addition, a junior student earned an all-expenses-paid summer study trip to Germany after excelling in the National German Exam. The Kirkwood Board of Education recently elected two new members, Jean Marie Andrews and Laura Hepburn, and approved the hire of Dr. Jennifer Hoell as assistant principal at North Kirkwood Middle School. The KHS Symphonic and Concert Orchestras showcased their talents at the National Heritage Festival in San Antonio, Texas.
