"Great variety of forehand and backhanded shots, dog legs, hills, flats, tunnel shots, downhill shots, this course has it all. Easy to play in under 2hrs. One of the first disc golf courses in the area as well."
"Great short course, can get crowded on peak hours but people are generally very polite about playing through, helping beginners find discs, etc. It’s a short, wooded course that rewards touch, with a couple longer holes. Great course to play through a couple times, or place a quick full 18. Bring a mask and check out the pro shop if you go. It’s really just a few cabinets in the community center that you must politely ask to be opened. However, they have very reasonable prices for brand new discs from big brands. They have a good selection of discraft and innova. The people at the desk are multi talented people that over see the whole community center and are not necessarily disc golf oriented. I wouldn’t expect them to know the flight characteristics of the discs in the shop, so if you’re new and shopping discs maybe bring a buddy who isn’t. But if you know what you are looking for, it’s a great course to work into your rotation while building out a bag for the pro shop alone. The front desk people are amazing and very friendly. If you lose a disc check with the pro shop because many people that find discs will leave it with them."
"White Birch may be the smallest 18 hole disc golf course in St. Louis but is also the first course ever built in Missouri so it has a lot of history. It is perfect for beginners because there is no real danger of losing disc and the walk through the woods is pretty, thanks to bridges, stairs, and the creek winding through it. White Birch is regularly maintained and has lots of good obstacles and elevation changes that make it challenging. There is only one basket placement per hole but it is still fun to play a quick round. Be careful when throwing because the holes are close to each other and you don't want to hit anyone. There is a community center in the parking lot if you need to buy some discs or have any questions."
"So this was Missouri’s first disc golf course built in 1979 and I love that but it needs to be updated and I’ve lost my classic off white gateway diablo and a yellow champion aviar with my number on it here. It’s often crowded with people even on week days. Don’t use your favorite disc at this place cause people and the creek like to take them.."
"Great little course. A true par 3 disc golf course. Signs could use some updating to make it easier to navigate for 1st timers. The rail road tie wall along 1 is starting to fall apart, used to be a nice spot to set your bag and get situated before starting the round. All in all, it's a fun course. One that's always worth coming back for, especially when you don't have a lot of time, since it is a short and fast course. There is one creek that runs through and can eat a disc. Some satellite image tee signs would help players avoid those areas. That and maybe some longer tee pads would make it a 5 star course. Still a great course though. Hope they maintain it for many more decades."
